It is in the moment of discovery where I enjoy reveling in it. Good, Bad, Happy, Sad, I always focus on the moment where I feel the change. It fascinates me to no end that the human condition is so rich with poignant moments of change. When you realize this, change becomes something exciting and not to be feared. Because in my world, when I learn something on a very very small scale, that learning is instantly shared in ALL aspects of my life. For instance, the morning routine of getting water from the water filter container and being annoyed that I had to refill it. The awareness of me changing my attitude that instant made the day much lighter and brighter and filled with gratitude.
It is that miraculous, you realize. It is the awareness as you realize something you can change, then changing it and realizing how important that little change became.
Think about it today. Think about how many changes are presented to you by awareness of your thoughts and then taking that nano second to discover you can change!
Because today, I am a different person. Today, I feel the different calm that came over me yesterday. Poignant with Power, but not the kind of power to move mountains, the kind of power that came when I relinquished and trusted everything was going to be OK. It remains with me today as it reverberates from within me and I sense it's wisdom.
All because I am aware of when change is an option, I sit with that idea for a nano second and then choose to take the better, healthy path. Sometimes better and healthy is painful because of what needs to surface after that, but it is still the best way to change because it is infused with much more light and life, even if it is painful. Like taking a splinter out, it is painful for a moment, but releasing the splinter will cause healing to begin instantly. After the healing begins and the scar appears, that is when you can look back and thank the splinter for bringing an old hurt to the surface to heal.
Change is easy, not changing is hard and takes too much energy. You change more than you think, so why not?
May each and every one of you today discover the beauty of what is brought to your awareness and the courage to face it and change your life.
And So It Is. :-)
